Patients with Alzheimer’s Disease may have difficulty leaving the house. Our tDCS home-therapy program is designed to provide treatment directly to patients who cannot physically or psychologically present to an office setting. Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS) is non-invasive stimulation therapy of the brain.

Through the use of sponge electrodes applied to different areas of the scalp, a constant low-level current is delivered to the brain. Tis neromodulation therapy uses a current between 1 – 2 mA to targeted regions of the brain to modulate brain function. By varying different electrode configurations, tDCS can be used to either stimulate or reduce neuronal activity in the targeted region.
